Welcome to our first blog post! We are excited to have another venue to communicate our vision with the world. As our first post, we want to introduce ourselves! We are Fredericksburg Custom Homes and we make personalized, award-winning homes in the Northern Virginia Area.
FXBG Custom Homes was started in 1994 by myself, Christopher M. Kohlhaas. I grew up in the Washington D.C. area and graduated from LSU with a degree in construction management in 1986. I had a vision to provide my customers with a personal service that ranged from design to construction. I exercise my vision by being actively involved in onsite supervision.
We provide custom home designs that cater to every specific request. Whatever you need, we do. Our award-winning homes are designed by renowned architects that make sure your vision comes alive. We can either use your plans or create a new blueprint based on your dreams and desires. Throughout the building process the project manager and you, will personally walk your project so that you can get the most from our hands-on approach.
While we design beautiful and innovative homes from scratch, it is not the only thing we do. We also provide restoration and renovation. We can help you in your plans to add a room or a bathroom! Or perhaps you want to remodel your kitchen or your whole house! Small or big, we are here for you.
